PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION

Our Bachelor of Engineering degrees are fully accredited by The Institution of Engineers, Australia (I.E.Aust). Graduates from Curtin therefore satisfy all the academic requirements for corporate membership of the I.E.Aust. Our programs are also recognised by international professional institutions.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Employment opportunities have remained consistently good for many years with graduates entering careers in industrial and commercial organisations, statutory bodies and government departments. The Department graduates around 50 Bachelors students each year, many of whom gain employment prior to graduation. Nationally, graduates from Curtin University attain one of the highest success rates for securing positions in professional engineering.

PROGRAM DURATION

The Bachelor of Engineering degrees in the Faculty of Engineering are of four years duration if undertaken full-time. However, they may be undertaken on a part-time basis at whatever rate a student chooses in order to match their individual needs.
